Easy Vegetable Fruit Salad Recipe.

Hi, we are almost mid January, time is flying so fast.

During the weekend I made a salad that was really easy and I thought I would share the recipe with you guys.

 

 

 

Ingredients

 

•    2 medium sized carrots
• 1 tomato
• 1 peach
• 1 banana(not shown in the photo)

Method

• clean the ingredients thoroughly in water mixed with some vinegar. Then rinse in cold water.
• grate the carrots(I prefer mine grated but you can slice them into cubes if you want them that way)

 

• cube the tomato

 

• cut the peach into nice cubes, mine is messy the peach was over ripe.

 

• slice the banana  as shown or how you prefer them.

 

• mix all the ingredients in a bowl and enjoy.

NB I didnt clean my chopping board since I was going mix everything together any way:)

HAPPY NEW YEAR , I know a week or so is gone since we started this new year and am late wishing you a happy new year, my apologies.

So I thought I would give you the best of 2013 on this blog space

Safari Walk

so last weekend but one ,me and

my friends decided to

go and see the nature.

Kenya is really beautiful, I must say.

So we headed for Nairobi Safari Walk.

we had to fuel up..

 

i mean a good

plate of chips masala....

 

that mega café has scrumptious chips masala.

After an hour of lunch,

it was time to head up for the walk

First

we saw these dudes lying on the rocks...

they look so relaxed I must say.

plus the camouflage wouldn't let you see them properly

because of the rocks..i had to zoom in to get the photos. 

less stories and more photos enjoy.

B for Bonnet

hey hope you are well.

I am having this really busy week at work like really busy,

plus this cold is never ending...always layering to keep away the cold but I don't think its working..

on other news

I promised a friend of mine al make her daughter some present coz I never went for the baby shower.

I was inspired by TUTORIAL-Make A Baby Bonnet on Style by Silvia.

I just love her site.

so I made my crochet version of the Bonnet

so here it is ...

I used some ribbon I had lying around so I think it turned out to be super cute.
