beaded key holder

hi everyone now that the holidays are here, the spirit of giving out presents is in the air.Although presents are not only supposed to be given out during holidays it only gives an opportunity to think of others. so this Christmas i am giving out a key holder that i made out of metal wire, beads(mixed colored and different textures) and you also need a key ring.the mixed colors gives the key holder a lot of color though you could used one color. *use two metal wire gauges.for the structure use a hard 17" and the soft thin wire for joining the beads to the base. *beads amount depending on whether you want to fill up the structure or leave some space *and a key ring to ijoin the keys with the made key holder.1910
steps on how to make the key holder 1.using the hard metal wire make a structure either an oval shape or a circle.make two loops to join the circle or the oval shape and also where to place the key ring 2.fill up the inside of the structure using the beads.start by rolling the soft metal wire at one point of the structure and then insert the bead in the soft wire and then roll the soft wire on the hard this til you fill up the structure.start filling ip the inside to the design and the extent that you want. 3.finally place the keyring into the loop and place your keys its a realy nice project .....hope the person i give it to appreciates it

blue crocheted earrings

This is a project i have wishing to do for a long time.I made light blue(or should i call the color baby blue)earrings.Normally i am a laid back person who does not seek attention but the color of the earrings popped out and they are so visible and almost everyone noticed them also since they are very unique.

I attended a class with them and everyone loved them.At first i thought everyone will think am kinda weird.I closed my eyes on the thought and totally loved the response.

i also made another pair still using the same thread but using another design which flows more let me what you think.......would appreciate hearing from you

button me up with some jeans!

hi everyone,
i have been busy for a while but i have done a project that is easy to make. All through i have been wishing to diy a ring.finally i came up with an idea
-stretching thread(used in bead work)
-cloth for the top of the button-i used jeans material

take the cloth to the shops that make cloth covered buttons(went to biashara street in Nairobi)and made me a 60 button.
tie the thread on the hole of the button to the size of your finger.and voila havent been able to put the ring off my finger, lovely week every one

sorry about the photos they are not clear but i hope u get they idea

Home made

hi every one.....i have been going through some blogs lately and the home made shampoo got my eye. this remedy is so simple and all you require is in your kitchen
-baking soda

-vinegar/1 lemon

1.mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one cup of water in an empty bottle and shake well
proceed to bathroom and apply the mixture on your hair massaging well so as to make sure that all the oil in the hair is cleaned out, then rinse off well
2.i used fresh lemon ,so squeeze the juice from the lemon and add a cup of water to the juice.massage the hair well.the importance of this is to neutralize the alkalinity of the baking soda.rinse off really well so as to avoid your hair tinting colour due to exposure to sunlight.
3then style as desired!!!!!!!!!!!
have fun as you try it out
