Hi y'all ,hope you are okay,i am doing good.

Sometime back i attended an aptitude test and 

i would say i found most of the questions i was not aware of the answers 

so as i go on with a cal

 i will post the questions that i can remember at the end of the post,

from the aptitude test 

and you can suggest some answers

i picked blue as my second color and here is how far i have gone with the cal

Hi ,everyone,i hope you are doing fine.

This week i  joined the cal from

 appleblossomdreams.blog.

As the title of the post goes this is a project that combines roses and granny squares 

so here are photos of my first six roses

1.  What is your favorite animal and why?

I have never owned a pet but i always like puppies from a far but ( i am terribly scared of barking dogs).funny right.. 

 2. What do you love to make above and beyond anything else?

I love making bags and purses since they do not need any shaping....ooh and scarves 

3. What's your biggest wish for the future?

My biggest wish in the future is to own a home and not pay rent 

4.What would you say is the worst thing about you?

I would no say worst but it gets me in a lot of trouble, am an introvert so some people say am a snob which is not true at all.......weird right

 5.What would you say is the best thing about you?

The best thing about me is that i am not judgmental 

6.What's the most treasured memory you have so far in your life?

 After i thought i had gone blind...and i had the first cornea graft and could see its the most treasured memory to dated....even though the cornea donor was anonymous i take this opportunity to say thank you and appreciate you ....am taking good care of your cornea...lol...thanks again 

7.If you won the lottery what would be the first thing you would buy?

iIwould pay for my other eye surgery.....i have to have a cornea graft some time soon so that will do and the remainder i would buy a good camera(really need one!) 

8.What is your favorite type of flower?

The crocheted ones they look so cute for live ones i will go for roses.... 

9.What's the most favorite thing you have in your wardrobe?

Jeans any day.....too bad i cant go to work with them :( 

10.What started you blogging?

I stsrted a blog after my brother's advice so that i can show people what i make....am glad he did(and did i say he believes in me sometimes more than i do in my self.....love you bro) 

11.What's the best thing about blogging?

 The best thing about blogging is that i got  to make friends with amazing crocheters  and learn from them

A Brooch in Every Color

hey every one hope you are doing great.

This week has flown, i cannot believe its already Thursday

and the last one this month to be precise.

Though very busy lately i have to make time for you all

:>)

So this week i found a pattern on the internet

on how to make a brooch

it is a really

easy pattern to follow

i cant remember from which website i got it from

but once i do i

have to link it up

.i had some left over orange yarn

and this is how the brooch turned out

what an easy way to spice up your outfit

and i would love to have it in every color
i already have the orange
now to bold colors
red
mmmh

 and now the blue

really striking
and
now

on another note

The Motif pattern

hello my lovely followers!
I hope you
 are doing great,

i have been M.I.A for a while,

not intentional 

balancing work, school and projects has proved tricky

am starting to wonder,

what happened to my multi-tasking skills????
so here is the pattern for the motif that i promised in my
 previous post

THE MOTIF TUTORIAL

row1:chain 6 slip stitch into the first chain to form a ring

row2: chain 6 (this acts as the first treble and some space), *treble into the ring and chain 3* repeat seven times. you should have 8 spaced trebles

row 3:chain 8 and dc into the spaces in between the trebles above,repeat seven times so that you have 8 chained loops

row 4& 5:*chain 3 and make 3 trebles into the loop chain 3 and make 3 trebles in the same loop* ,(you should be having 6 trebles spaced by three chains in one loop) repear ** till you have filled the loops

repeat rows 4 & 5 till you have the desired size

bind off by slip stitching all around

you can make several motifs and join them

I am working on......

i have been quiet  but i have been busy for a while,although i have not been posting what i have been working on some projects

so i have a few work in progress.

the first is one i am making some motifs am not really sure what am making

but i believe they are cute

i will later know what the end product will be but i promise it will be awesome
am also planning on giving a tutorial on how to make this motif some day next week
