Removing RGP Contact Lenses

Hi, there hope you are lovely

so today's topic is on the removal of RGPS,

if you have used RGPS,

 you know that some times it is a task to get them out .

its like

a nightmare....

you are all sleepy and the lenses just cant come off.

It is depressing at times.

so i found this you tube video on how to remove

the lenses.

The lady in the video shows us two methods on

how to take off

contact lenses

 

I normally used the first method oftenly

since its easy and fast

Although i read somewhere this method

give droopy eyes after a while......am not sure

how true this is.

I would advice for you to use the method that works best for you

so which method works for you and why???

or if you have another method you can share...

putting on your contact lenses

Hi,all hope you are doing great

my walk with the lenses

have been exciting and frustrating at the same time.

i can see clearly now but if a dust particle

gets into your eye

it is not a

good

moment at all.

sharp pain,like glass cutting though your eyes.

This has made me to have

sunglasses

in my bag always.

i saw this educative

you tube video on how

to wear your contact lenses

ps:this video is for wearing gas permeable contact lenses

at first this was really had to nail this

but a month down the line

i have to say

it has become so much easier.

True practise makes perfect

Hi,

hope you are fantastic.

July is now over.......it bin for two weeks now

(sorry i have not posted for a while now)

The weather has been great lately,

the sun rays lightly hitting my dark skin

leaving

a warm feeling to it.

And just when i thought that the cold is over,

i wake up to yet another grey day...no sun in the sky :(

so today

i decided to wear a dress ,i didnt know its going to be realy cold

so i since its so grey outside

i decide to pick grey as my theme today

but warm

clothing to just play with my mind

wish i had either of this on

to warm me up

i saw this on pinterest and i just drooled

it looks so lovely

it seems light but warm

 i like

Me, My eyes, Keratoconus and RGPS

Hi,every one its been a while since did a post

i have been busy but all is well.

i have gone back to using

rigid gas permeable contact lenses(RGP)

 which are extremely uncomfortable and need a lot of care,

 they also take a bit of time before you get used to them.

these lenses are supposed to correct my

 visual distortion

caused by keratoconus.

I hope i get used to them much faster since the discomfort is major

and

it feels like an eternity.

so here are some pointers if you are using RGPS

• wash your hands thoroughly with soap that does not have moisturizere in it before handling them.
• dry you hands well
• always begin with one eye all the times, if its the right eye always remove it first and always begin with it when you are putting them back on.

those are just but a few

will do some more posts on my experience with RGPS.

Anyone who has some experience in RGPS can give some advice.
